ITIB Homepage Chatbot "InnoChat"
"InnoChat" is a chatbot service on ITIB Homepage. It can provide answers to some common questions and provides information related to ITIB. The service supports English, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese. "InnoChat" will try to understand users′ needs based on text inputted and provide an answer in a dialogue manner.
To begin, users may simply click / tap the "InnoChat" icon on the bottom right-hand corner, and type their questions or choose from the menu of popular items.
"InnoChat" operates on natural languages processing and machine learning technologies. Given the great variety of enquiries and limitations of machine learning, the response may not be always perfect. We will strive to improve the accuracy of "InnoChat" by learning the suitable answers to various questions through conversations with users. Besides, "InnoChat" requires the support of JavaScript. If JavaScript support is turned off in the browser, "InnoChat" does not work as well.
The Interaction with Chatbot
"InnoChat" supports textual interactions with users. Users may also use the voice-to-text function of smartphones and tablets to communicate with "InnoChat".
Languages Supported
"InnoChat" supports English, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese. Users can choose different languages from the language menu at the top left-hand corner of the dialogue panel.

"InnoChat" can answer common questions related to ITIB. These include information about ITIB, I&T policies, I&T development and I&T support of Hong Kong. As the I&T environment is fast changing, it takes time to train and improve the accuracy of "InnoChat" with the latest information. However, we will endeavour to update InnoChat"s information database as soon as possible.
